Car manufacturers could really come up with something better than hard plastic. Major downsides to hard plastic interiors are: ugly looking, makes the entire cabin looks cheap, makes ugly sounds – especially after several years of use… Some good examples of bad plastic are new models of Mitsubishi Mirage and Dacia Duster. Since cars are often about beauty and the sense of pride (especially when it comes to male owners), producers should really try harder to make the owners feel proud of their cars and pleasant while they are driving them.
