Midsummer Dinner. Delicious camping food.

Main ingredient: Fresh salmon, pickled hearing

 

Ingredients

1 jar Mustard hearing

1 jar Garlic hearing or seafood hearing

  New potatoes

  Dill

  Chives

250 ml Sour cream

4 Pieces of salmon

  Butter or oil

  Mixed sallad

8 slices Crisp bread

  Butter

  Mature hard cheese such as Västerbotten

 

Cooking

1. Boil new potatoes with dill.

2. Chop chives.

3. Fry salmon and make a salad.

4. Serve pickled hearing with new potatoes, sour cream and chopped chives as sort of a starter. Then continue with fried salmon, potatoes, sour cream and a salad. Have crisp bread with butter and mature cheese on the side. The only drinks allowed are lots of beers and Swedish schnapps!

Have strawberries and whipped cream for dessert.

 

At least try the pickled hearing. It's very inexpensive and a must on the Midsummer dinner table.
